Saletise Extention Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 3, 2026

This policy covers the Saletise Extention browser extension. Its purpose is to transfer the product launch draft you choose in Saletise into Product Hunt, TinyLaunch or Launch (trylaunch.ai) submission forms.

Current availability

The Saletise extension is coming soon for users who do not already have it installed. The dashboard shows a Coming soon notice and does not offer extension setup or automatic launch when no installed extension is detected. A paid plan does not remove this limitation. The processing described below applies when an installed extension is used.

Information handled by the extension

When you start a guided launch, the extension receives the selected draft's product name, tagline, description and product website URL. Product Hunt also receives the maker's first comment, selected website artwork URLs and your preferred launch date. The website is inspected for social preview artwork and prominent product images. If no suitable image is accepted, a launch card is created locally from your saved product name, tagline and website; a missing logo can receive a square product mark. It reads form labels, relevant field values and validation messages in the selected tab to find submission fields and preserve edits. Existing launch text and manual edits are preserved. Copy may be shortened to fit a field's character limit.

The extension does not request your passwords, authentication cookies, payment information or API keys. It does not read unrelated tabs or collect general browsing history.

How the information is used and shared

The draft is used to run your selected platforms sequentially in one guided tab, in Product Hunt, Launch (trylaunch.ai), TinyLaunch order. Only the current platform receives its draft. Login and onboarding pages pause autofill; returning after authentication resumes the guided session. The extension may advance recognized Get started, Next and Continue form steps after filling available launch text. On Product Hunt, the helper adds at least one and up to five gallery images, preserves existing media, chooses relevant or platform-recommended launch tags, and validates the saved gallery before continuing. Account, eligibility and legal questions remain for you to answer. A general onboarding reminder does not block filling the product form. On legacy Microlaunch routes the helper may open a recognized New Launch editor control. Starting Launch automatically authorizes the final Product Hunt Publish or Schedule action, using the saved preferred date when scheduling is required. Launch (trylaunch.ai) submits through its native five-step form using Community Launch when no role has been selected; an existing role selection is preserved. It adds product artwork, selects the Free plan and submits to the standard queue, declining the optional paid upgrade. It skips optional comments and revenue verification without posting or connecting a payment account. Confirmed queued submissions and displayed launch dates are saved separately from live publications. TinyLaunch also submits through its native forms using your own signed-in account. TinyLaunch fills the product description, selects a category and a free date, uploads the website logo or a locally generated product mark, and schedules the launch after you answer its account and acknowledgement questions. The extension never makes payments. Scheduled drafts are not reported as published.

Entering a draft makes that information available to the selected platform under its own privacy policy. The extension does not send drafts to a separate Saletise analytics or collection service, sell draft data, or use it for advertising. This extension includes no advertising or analytics SDKs. Data already saved in your Saletise account is separate from the extension's temporary browser storage.

Browser storage and retention

The extension uses Chrome's session storage to associate a draft with its destination tab. Filled-field identifiers are retained with the draft so progress survives full-page form navigation. A draft expires after 24 hours and is then removed when that tab next requests autofill. Closing the tab, selecting Stop, ending the browser session, or removing the extension also clears the associated temporary draft. A browser session may keep inactive draft records until one of these cleanup events occurs.

Completion reports contain the project ID, platform, originating Saletise origin and operation identifier. Scheduled Product Hunt and TinyLaunch reports contain a launch URL and its confirmed date, kept separately from live publication. Product Hunt schedules are verified against the matching record in My launches, so the guide can continue before launch day. Publication reports also contain a public launch URL, detected on a matching public product page or entered by you in the helper. Detecting a public listing uses its heading, website link and publication indicators. Reports are queued in browser session storage and returned only to the originating Saletise dashboard, which saves them with your project using your existing signed-in session. Launch reports contain the confirmed free submission link and its displayed date when available; queued results are never reported as live. The next selected platform opens only after Saletise confirms saving its submission or public URL. Reports survive closing the guide, are removed after successful save acknowledgement and expire after 24 hours. They contain no launch text or credentials. Autofill completion alone does not confirm publication. You can also attach a URL directly in Saletise.

Site access and permissions

Site access is limited to Saletise dashboard pages, pages on producthunt.com, tinylaunch.com, microlaunch.net and trylaunch.ai (including their www variants). These providers use authentication, editor and public listing routes, so their content scripts are available across those sites to resume the guided session and capture the published URL. It fills recognized product/project fields only when a draft is associated with that specific tab. The storage permission keeps drafts attached to the correct tabs while navigating between pages and while the background worker restarts. No draft is stored in Chrome's cross-device sync storage.

Your choices

You choose when to start autofill, can edit filled fields, and can skip a platform, stop the sequence or close its tab at any time. To remove the extension, use Chrome's Extensions page. Removing the extension does not delete your separately saved Saletise project or a launch you have submitted on a platform.

Related Saletise services

Account, project, billing, and operational monitoring records maintained by the website are covered by the Saletise Privacy Policy. Selected account and project actions, diagnostic errors, and verified payment or refund events may be reported by the website to operator-controlled Discord channels as described there. Those website reports are separate from temporary extension storage. Website storage and service terms are described in the Cookie Policy and Terms of Service.
