Browser storage supports sign-in, preferences, recovery, and launch progress. It is not all the same kind of cookie.

1. What this policy covers#

This policy covers the Saletise website's cookies and similar browser storage, and relevant storage used by its optional launch helper. Contact Saletise at [email protected].

A cookie is stored by the browser and can be sent with requests to the site. Local storage persists in that browser until removed. Session storage is normally scoped to a tab or browser session, although browser restore behavior can affect how long it remains.

2. Sign-in and workflow cookie#

The application uses its session cookie, normally named session, for sign-in state, account-session checks, temporary onboarding information, request-protection state, and sign-in or connection workflows. Without this storage, account and related workflow functions may not work.

Signed-in sessions are currently configured for a rolling lifetime of up to 365 days, refreshed during use. Temporary workflows can end earlier. Logging out clears the application session; browser controls can also remove cookies. Some sign-in or provider sessions are controlled by their own sites.

3. Website preference and temporary storage#

The current website uses the following browser-storage entries. Preference entries do not have a fixed expiry in the application; they remain until replaced or cleared. Temporary entries are removed by their workflow or browser session behavior.

  • saletise-theme (local storage): remembers your chosen light or dark appearance. If no choice is stored, the site can use your device preference.
  • saletise_dashboard_tab and saletise_dashboard_sidebar_collapsed (local storage): remember workspace navigation or sidebar preferences.
  • saletise_recovery_email (session storage): carries the email entered during a password-recovery workflow and is removed when that workflow reads it.
  • saletise-launch-project (session storage): carries the selected launch project between steps.
  • Launch-related keys on supported publishing sites (session storage): preserve media selections, form progress, and duplicate-submission checks during a guided launch.

4. Optional extension storage#

The launch extension is available in the Chrome Web Store. The dashboard checks for an extension connection and shows installation instructions when none is detected. An installed, compatible extension is required for automatic launch; viewing the setup card does not start that workflow.

When installed, the launch helper uses extension session storage for the current launch sequence, relevant tab and project identifiers, saved content, and results waiting to be synchronized. Launch-sequence records currently carry an expiry of about 24 hours and can be removed earlier when the workflow completes.

The extension also interacts with storage on supported publishing sites. Disabling or removing the extension stops its future activity, but relevant site data may need to be cleared separately using your browser controls.

5. Third-party resources and optional tracking#

Pages can request resources from external services, including Google Fonts, favicon services, or project media hosts. Those requests disclose technical request information to the resource provider. External services reached through Google sign-in, connected accounts, or publishing have their own storage practices and policies.

Dodo Payments hosted checkout, including checkout for a Starter free trial, and its customer portal operate on provider pages and may use cookies or similar storage for payment, authentication, security, and fraud prevention under the provider policies presented there. Saletise does not use a Discord tracking cookie to deliver operational logs; those notifications are sent by the server.

The preference entries described here are not used by Saletise to build cross-site advertising profiles. This policy does not authorize adding optional advertising or analytics tracking without the information and choices required by applicable law. Acceptance of Terms is not consent to such tracking.

6. Your controls#

Use your browser's site-data and privacy settings to inspect, block, or delete cookies and local storage for Saletise and any external site. Clearing local data can reset preferences, sign you out, or interrupt an in-progress launch. Closing a tab may clear its session storage, subject to browser behavior.

Use the theme and dashboard controls to change supported preferences, and browser extension settings to manage the optional launch helper. Disabling a preference in the UI may replace its value rather than remove its storage key.

Where non-essential storage or access requires consent, it must not be treated as authorized merely because you continued browsing or accepted the Terms. Contact [email protected] with questions about a particular entry or resource.

7. Updates#

Storage practices may change with the product. We will revise this page and provide any additional notice or consent choices required before a relevant change takes effect. See the Privacy Policy for information about personal-data processing beyond browser storage.
