GUIDE 7 min readInbox & conversations
Automatic outreach, candidate selection, sending limits, replies, and conversation stages.
Read conversations#
Inbox shows recorded conversations for your projects. Use project, search, and stage filters, then select a conversation to read messages and contact details. Starter and Business users can read conversations. Premium users can turn on Reply manually in each conversation to pause AI replies and write their own. Turn it off to return the conversation to AI.
A Relative fit score belongs to the selected project, not the contact globally. Contact details explain the match and show supporting evidence when available. A fit score is not a probability of purchasing.
Reply manually with Premium#
Open a conversation after its first email has been sent and turn on Reply manually. AI replies pause for this chat only, including queued drafts. Incoming messages continue to appear. Write your reply and choose Send reply; it is queued through the project sender mailbox and marked You in the history.
Turn Reply manually off to hand the conversation back to AI. Wait for queued manual replies to finish first. AI only resumes for the latest unanswered human message. Stopped or unsubscribed contacts remain blocked from sending.
If the account loses Premium access, manual sending is blocked. You can still turn manual mode off to hand the chat back to AI. A message already being sent cannot be recalled.
View example#
View example shows sample conversations. These are not actual prospects or emails sent on your behalf.
Automatic start, Stop, and manual Start#
New projects are enrolled in automatic cold outreach and start after sender setup and analysis are ready. They continue across days until Stop outreach is clicked. Older projects keep their existing start behavior and are not switched on retroactively.
Cold Emails is required in method selection, but Stop outreach still pauses new contacts. Stop persists across reloads and worker restarts. Click Start Cold Emails to resume. When Stop outreach is visible, Start is hidden.
Project sender addresses are prepared automatically, and Saletise manages the reply connection. Initial messages and AI replies use the project's sender identity. Replies continue the original email conversation.
Stop pauses new cold emails. Existing conversations can still receive replies unless they have ended, converted, or opted out. An email already being sent can finish.
How candidates are chosen#
Saletise checks a shared pool of unused contacts for categories related to your project before generating new contacts. Each contact can have up to three relevance categories.
A new search targets five candidates from available contact sources. If sources return fewer contactable people, the available candidates are compared.
Candidates are ranked together for this project's product, platforms, audience, and use case. The highest-ranked available contact is chosen. There is no minimum relevance score. Shared unused contacts store no project-specific relevance scores.
Unchosen contacts stay available for later use. The selected contact is removed after confirmed sending. Reservations prevent projects from selecting the same stored contact simultaneously; uncertain sends stay reserved for review.
Missing public email addresses, unavailable sources, and temporary AI failures can delay sending. Saved contacts are kept for retry. A five-candidate search is a target, not a guarantee that five contactable prospects exist.
Daily limits and timing#
- Up to 15 initial cold emails per project per calendar day. The allowance is per project, not one shared account allowance.
- The current interval is 96 minutes, or 1 hour 36 minutes, after the previous initial email finishes. The first email can send once a candidate and draft are ready. Preparation or service delays can make sending slower.
- The daily allowance resets at midnight in the configured outreach timezone, currently Israel time. Fifteen is a maximum, not a guaranteed daily result.
- Clicking Start after the daily allowance is used schedules the next batch for the next day. Repeated clicks do not create duplicate batches or reset the cap.
- Replies have a separate queue and do not use new-contact slots. Source and provider capacity limits can also affect sending.
Refresh and queued replies#
Saletise checks the reply mailbox in the background. The refresh icon checks for replies immediately and reloads the conversation view. Refresh does not force a new prospect search or bypass sending limits.
A human reply needing an AI response receives a random delay of 1 to 15 minutes after detection. Queued replies show a countdown. Preparation or service delays can make actual sending later than that time.
Sent means the sending service accepted the message. It does not confirm an open, website visit, purchase, or placement in the recipient's primary inbox.
In progress, Interested, and Converted#
- In progress: initial outreach is recorded without a qualifying human reply yet.
- Interested is blue. A human reply marks interest; automatic responses do not. An opt-out ends outreach to that recipient instead.
- Converted is green. For a fully free product, the AI looks for evidence of completed adoption, such as downloading or using it. For a paid or freemium product, a download alone is insufficient; the reply must confirm a paid conversion or purchase.
- After conversion, the AI sends one final thank-you message, includes the project's real contact email when a suitable one is available, and stops the conversation. It remains Converted.
- An Interested conversation contributes one estimated reach event to Overview. Further replies and conversion do not add another.
Sender identity and unsubscribe#
Use Edit sender to review the project's sender name and company role.
Outreach emails include an unsubscribe link below the opt-out text. A recipient can unsubscribe or ask to stop in a reply. Starting another batch does not override recipient suppression.
